On 3/19/2016 the company installed forward facing dash cameras in all apparatus. The decision was made to move forward with this project after several near misses as well as an accident involving our old Engine which was struck while backing into quarters by a distracted driver.

The cameras installed power on and record whenever the apparatus battery is on, features GPS locating abilities, HD Video recording, and a G sensor which in the event of a collision records from 20 seconds before the collision as well as 20 seconds after the collision and then locks the footage for review.

Funding for the four cameras was made possible through the Office of the State Fire Commissioner Volunteer Fire Company Grant Program.
