…FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING…
The National Weather Service in State College has issued a
* Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Fulton, Huntingdon, McKean, Northern Centre, Northern Clinton, Potter, Somerset, Southern Centre, Southern Clinton, and Warren.
* Through Sunday evening
* Water levels continue to run high and soils are saturated. With several periods of rain forecast through the weekend, this will increase the threat of flooding across the region. Additional rainfall of two to three inches is possible.
* Monitor forecasts closely and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in flood prone areas should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
