Langdon Gillen has served with the Lock Haven Fire Department since 2002.   He provides leadership to 20 volunteer personnel. He has served as Lieutenant since March 8th 2016.   Lieutenant Gillen supervises fire operations for the Truck company.

Prior to serving Lieutenant, he has been a member of the Hope Hose Company as a Firefighter since 2002, and an EMT since 2008. He is also a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Firefighter.

He is certified through DOD IFSAC/ProBoard as an Airport Firefighter, Fire Officer 1, Fire Service Instructor I, Hazmat Technician, Driver/Operator Engine and Mobile Water Supply, as well as Public Safety Telecommunicator I/II.

In addition to being the Station Lieutenant, he is currently employed as an Emergency Medical Technician at Goodwill Hose Company in Flemington and Pleasant Gap Fire Company in Pleasant Gap, Pa.
