Saylor “Jeff” McGhee has served with the Hope Hose Company for several decades. Jeff, a Lock Haven native  has a storied past, retiring as both a school teacher and Police Officer, while also serving with other fire departments has been a member of the department since the mid 70’s. Upon the need to care for his aging parents, Jeff also decided to return to his roots at the Hope Hose Company. Upon his return Jeff completed the “new” essentials program and attained his Firefighter I Certification, while also becoming an Emergency Responder through the Department of Health.
